After teasing that JAY-Z would be appearing on DJ Khaled’s new album God Did, it appears that Khaled has confirmed the news in a new Instagram post.
In June, the DJ shared a heartwarming photo of himself with the artist. “IT BREAKS MY HEART THEY DIDN’T BELIEVE US, JAY Z DID! GOD DID!” Khaled wrote in the caption. “Album mode it’s special. VERY!”
Khaled returned to Instagram on Monday to post a series of photos featuring producer Young Guru and Roc Nation CEO Lenny “Kodak Lens” Santiago. Referring to JAY-Z by his nickname HOV, Khaled announced in the caption that the rapper’s vocals had arrived.
“Oh my actual f***ing God,” SZA commented on the post, sharing Khaled’s excitement.
Khaled and JAY-Z previously collaborated on the 2016 single “I Got The Keys” with Future in tow.
The DJ hasn’t given God Did a release date just yet. The record will arrive as his 13th studio album and will also feature a track with Drake and Lil Baby.
In other music news, Chance the Rapper and Joey Bada$$ performed “The Highs & The Lows” on Fallon.
