Disclosure’s latest single “She’s Gone, Dance On” went viral long before it hit streaming services. The energetic dance track has been played during sets from some of the world’s biggest DJs, from Dom Dolla to Peggy Gou to Sammy Virji.
Before even being sampled, the British electronic duo of brothers Howard and Guy Lawrence first played the song at a pop-up show in Los Angeles back in October. They later premiered the song on BBC Radio 1, where it quickly went viral.
Disclosure has thankfully now rolled out “She’s Gone, Dance On” to streaming. In an interesting pairing, the duo samples the Italian composer Ennio Morricone’s “Dance On,” an orchestral cut that appeared in the soundtrack for the erotic romance Così Come Se.
The duo is currently touring the summer festival circuit, having just played Cercle Festival in Paris. In the coming weeks, they’ll head to Primavera, Parklife, Glastonbury, HARD Summer and more.
