Fancy a taste of the French riviera with an Italian twist? Well, Christian Dior‘s creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri is giving London just that. This summer, the French fashion house is taking over Selfridges’ Alto rooftop restaurant to create a dining experience inspired by Monsieur Dior’s favourite food, drinks, and the brand’s new resort collection Dioriviera.
Dior at Alto is currently taking booking for summer 2021, with a limited number of walk-ins available during opening hours from Monday to Saturday (12 p.m.-11 p.m.) and Sunday (12 p.m.-10 p.m.) The menu includes stylish mains, desserts, and cocktails, of which we are keen to try the decadent Plateau de Fruits de Mer special for two (£80) that boasts a seafood spread of fresh crab, prawns, oysters, langoustine, and crevettes. We also fancy trying Le Chapeau dessert that includes a white chocolate sphere filled with hazelnut ice cream, cocoa nibs, and whipped blackberry panna cotta and washing it down with a posh Dior signature cocktail.
