Diddy has been teasing his next album for well over a year, but now, the rapper has given fans a solid release date. Due on September 15, the rapper previewed The Love Album: Off the Grid with an official trailer, which also seemingly teased some of the artists that will appear on the project.
In the video, Diddy is constantly on the move, from taking business meetings to being joined in the studio by Justin Bieber. Other shots offer a behind-the-scenes look at his life. One scene shows him dancing with his late partner Kim Porter, who passed away in 2018. Another flashes to the present, as Diddy holds his newborn baby.
On Instagram, Diddy tagged Bieber, along with other artists that will presumably have guest spots on The Love Album, including French Montana, DJ Khaled, Teyana Taylor, 21 Savage, Swae Lee, Mary J. Blige, Babyface, Jozzy and Yung Miami.
‘The Love Album’ will be Diddy’s first full-length solo effort in nearly two decades. The last album fans got from him alone was 2006’s Press Play, though he has put out a few collaborations over the years.
