French audio technology company, Devialet, is back with an updated version of its powerful, yet compact Hi-Fi portable speaker. The new Phantom II received a sage green makeover and is limited to only 1,000 units.
Devialet’s new speaker maintains the same 98dB sound as the previous model and also features 400 Watts RMS of high fidelity sound. With a compact spherical design, the speaker possesses two push-push woofers with cone excursion in order to deliver deep audio. This in combination with the Phantom II’s full-range speaker provides robust sound with zero distortion or background noise. Phantom II Sage Green is compatible with Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Roon Ready and analog jacks.
In addition to Devialet’s Phantom range are its Gemini earphones. In addition to active noise canceling, the earphones feature the company’s patented technologies such as IDC (Internal Delay Compensation), PBA (Pressure Balance Architecture) and EAM (ear Active Matching).
The Phantom II Sage Green retails for £1450 (about $1991 USD) and will be available internationally through exclusive distributions, in the UK at Harrods starting today and through Devialet’s website and stores.
