Denzel Curry To Extend ‘King of the Mischievous South’ Mixtape

Denzel Curry To Extend 'King of the Mischievous South' Mixtape

Denzel Curry‘s King of the Mischievous South duo of projects have served as key points of inflection for the rapper in his career. After unveiling the original King of the Mischievous South Vol. 1 over a decade ago now and its successor King of the Mischievous South Vol. 2 back in July, the Florida rapper is looking back on the legacy 2012 project to breathe some new life into it. Curry has announced he’ll be dropping the “album version” of King of the Mischievous South, expanding the original mixtape with a reconfigured tracklist and five new songs.

The first glimpse into the project arrives in the form of “STILL IN THE PAINT,” a heavy-hitting single starring the likes of LAZER DIM 700 and Bktherula. The Waka Flocka-inspired cut also arrives with an immersive AMD-directed music video.

454, Duke Deuce, Sauce Walka, Key Nyata also show out on the extended version of the project.

Apple Music offers a preview of the album version’s tracklist, which spans 19 tracks including a new solo cut from Curry himself.
