Afrobeat star, Davido has threatened to copyright his popular mantra “E Choke”.
The singer cited it’s usage getting out of hand as the reason for his plan to officially own it exclusively.
This is coming after his arch-rival created by fans made another mantra public.
The mantra goes thus “E Don Spoil” and it trended for the better part of the day which has caused some fans to link it to Davido’s “E Choke” saying it is spoilt already.
Wizkid and Bella Shmurda shared a video of them having a good time in Ghana yesterday and the slang “E Don Spoil” was the by-product of that encounter which has since set social media agog.
Davido had purportedly reacted by taking to his Twitter handle to reveal that he will have to Copyright the slang pretty soon.
“E Choke” rose to popularity after the singer repeatedly used it on social media and even involved American rapper Drake in the business when he posted a video of them both chilling out somewhere in states with another version of it going thus “Who de breeeeeet?
