Finally, we have the “Timeless” album from Nigerian music superstar Davido out now.
Nigerian Afrobeats icon David Adeleke better by his stage name Davido has made a grand return to social media and the music scene with the planned release of his “Timeless” album.
It has been a rough couple of months for the music star since last year October when he lost his son Ifeanyi. He went off social media and cancelled the rest of his shows for 2022. The “Stand Strong” crooner only returned briefly to perform at the Qatar 2022 World Cup Final last year before going off again.
However, before going off, he announced he would be dropping his 4th studio album in March when he returns fully. The album is titled “Timeless” and it has 17 songs on it, including the lead single “Champion Sound“.
Davido took to his social media pages to share a thank you note to his supporters and fans and also thanked them for standing by him.
Here is an excerpt of his note;
“Thank you to everyone out there for your love and support that has held me down. All the love and messages while I was away, the gifts sent, the concerts you all threw! I appreciate it all. Today, I want to remind you all that what is now Timeless, was once new. It’s time for new.”
