Speaking about this new single ‘Holy Ground’, Davido narrates that he was inspired to feature Nicki Minaj after he was drunk at a club. In his current state, he took his phone and sent Nicki Minaj a drunk DM for a collaboration, she responded and the rest is history.
This is another afrobeats pop sound and it’s a joy to hear Nicki Minaj do her thing on the record. The DMW boss keeps things simple as he sings in pidgin and English.
