The Nigerian sensational music duo of Davido and Wizkid have won awards at the Net NG people’s choice awards.
They won the awards alongside other Nigerian singers like Omah Lay, Simi and a few others.
The winners of the awards in the various categories were announced on Sunday June 20, and while Wizkid won the award on the category of Most Played Song, Davido won the award on the category of Most Search Musician.
Wizkid won the award for his song “Smile” which he had featured American singer, H.E.R and also won again in the category of Most Popular Male Musician.
Other Nigerians who bagged home an award include Adekunle Gold, Ajebo Hustlers, Burna Boy and Phyno.
The Net NG holds its annual awards to honor Nigerians cutting across various fields of human endeavor.
