Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey continues to be linked with a move away from the Italian club.
According to Corriere Dello Sport (translated by Sportwitness), the 65-cap Welsh international has now confirmed his desire to leave the Italian club and Juventus do not intend to stop him from leaving.
The 30-year-old midfielder has failed to live up to the expectations since his move to Turin and the Italian outfit are keen on getting his significant wages off their books.
The report further states that West Ham United are in need of midfield reinforcements and David Moyes is looking to sign the central midfielder in the summer.
Given his situation at Juventus, it would be fair to assume that the player could be available for a reasonable price.
Crystal Palace and Arsenal have been tipped as potential destinations for the midfielder as well.
It is clear that Ramsey’s Italian adventure has not played out as he would have expected and return to his comfort zone in the Premier League would be ideal for the player at this stage of his career.
SL View: Ideal short-term addition for the Hammers
The Hammers could definitely use a goalscoring midfielder and Ramsey seems like an ideal fit. He could be a useful option for them alongside Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice.
Furthermore, this will be Mark Noble’s final season with West Ham and Ramsey could fill his void over the next few seasons.
