David Beckham is known for his dapper dress sense, and now it looks as though his son, Romeo, will be raiding his wardrobe to adopt his dad’s style. The pair, who were holidaying on a yacht in Miami, Florida, both posted hilarious snaps of them dressed in a bandana print shirt and matching shorts from Dior that were the same, but different. David chose the black colourway, while Romeo opted for a dusty rose hue.
Initially David posted a photo of himself on Instagram on 4 August wearing the silk shirt and sunglasses relaxing in the sun, yet his caption hinted at the familial fashion wars. “Just relaxing in @dbeyewear 🌞 thanks @mrkimjones @dior for my 👕 I love it but Romeo already has his eye on it 😂 @romeobeckham it’s mine 💙”
Lo and behold, a little while later Romeo, who plays football for his dad’s team Inter Miami, posted a gorgeous picture of him laughing with his dad in the evening wearing the matching co-ord. He captioned it with “Twinin”. David then commented: @Someone has been in my wardrobe 😂 @romeobeckham ❤️”. He styled his outfit with a shell necklace and layered bracelets for a relaxed vibe.
The family banter didn’t end there, either. Fashion designer Victoria Beckham went on to poke fun at her boys, posting another picture of the two of them, asking “who influenced who?!” Now, that really is the question . . .
It’s not the first time that the Beckham family have inspired each other’s fashion choices. As the Beckhams recently celebrated their 23rd anniversary with a romantic trip to Paris and Venice, they were couple dressing to the max with matching lemon outfits as they shared a series of lovedup posts. Plus, Romeo has made it clear just how much he looks up to his father as he got a gothic winged cross tattoo on the back of his neck earlier this year that was inspired by his dad, as well as dove tattoo on his hand that the two share.
The Beckhams have been sharing lots of special family moments of late. David recently posted a cute video of him playing football with daughter, Harper, as he wished the Lionesses good luck for the Euros final. As the Beckham family give fans more of an insight into their personal lives, it looks as though we might be seeing some more Beckham twinning on the horizon.
