Charlotte “Bowie” Drozd, daughter of The Flaming Lips member Steven Drozd, has been reunited with her family after being located by Seattle police on Tuesday.
The 16-year-old was reported missing on Sunday after being last seen in downtown Seattle near the city’s Space Needle on Saturday afternoon.
Katy Coyne, wife of Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne, said on social media that Drozd “was found safe outside of Seattle.” She added, “There’s no other information about the situation yet but she was just found.”
In his own social media post, Wayne Coyne thanked fans and fellow musicians for helping to bring attention to Drozd’s disappearance and ultimately reuniting her with her family. “THANK YOU everyone for all your posts and all your networking and all your support and all your skills and all your trust and all your LOVE !!!” Coyne wrote.
