Danny Elfman will return to the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles this Halloween season to perform songs from Tim Burton’s beloved film The Nightmare Before Christmas, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
The concerts will take place October 27th through 29th and see Elfman stepping back into the role of Jack Skellington to perform the music he wrote for the 1993 Disney classic. Additional special guests will be announced at a later date. Conductor John Mauceri will once again lead a full orchestra and choir.
A Live Nation pre-sale will begin on Wednesday, September 13th (use access code STUDIO) ahead of the general on-sale slated for September 15th via Ticketmaster.

“It’s impossible to believe it has been thirty years since Tim Burton made our strange little musical,” Elfman said in a statement. “What a tremendous thrill it is to perform it live in concert again at the iconic Hollywood Bowl.”
Concertgoers who arrive at the venue early can check out pre-show activities including a costume contest, trick-or-treating stations, and photo opportunities.
Last year, Phoebe Bridgers sang the part of Sally during a performance in London, following in the footsteps of Billie Eilish from 2021. Other guest performers have included Catherine O’Hara, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Ken Page, and the late Paul Reubens.
