Daniel Craig To Receive a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Daniel Craig To Receive a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Daniel Craig will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame just ahead of the U.S. release of the much-anticipated No Time To Die.

Variety reports that Craig is the fourth James Bond actor to receive the star, following David Niven, Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan. Barry Nelson who also played Bond in a TV movie also has a star on the Walk of Fame. No Time To Die marks Craig’s fifth and final film of the James Bond franchise. His star will is set to be next to Moore’s plaque.

In a statement from Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, she shared, “Daniel Craig is a British cultural icon, as is James Bond, the man he has portrayed in five 007 films. We are thrilled to place his terrazzo Walk of Fame star next to the star of another famed actor who also portrayed James Bond, Roger Moore. Fans will be thrilled when they see that their stars are appropriately located at 7007 Hollywood Boulevard.”

The ceremony for the 007 actor is on Wednesday, October 6 at 6:30 p.m. PT time. Daniel Craig will be the 27,04th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Post-James Bond, Craig is set to play Macbeth on Broadway.

Elsewhere in entertainment, HBO is releasing a documentary about the US Capito insurrection.
