Danger Mouse and Black Thought have shared a new song from their forthcoming collaborative album Cheat Codes. It’s called “Strangers” and it features A$AP Rocky and Run the Jewels. Check it out below.
“Strangers” is the fourth single Danger Mouse and Black Thought have unveiled from Cheat Codes. It follows lead single “No Gold Teeth,” “Aquamarine” (with Michael Kiwanuka), and “Because,” featuring contributions from Joey Bada$$, Russ, and Dylan Cartlidge.
Cheat Codes is out August 12 via BMG. It follows Black Thought’s latest solo trilogy, Streams of Thought. As for Danger Mouse, it’s his first hip-hop album since recording 2005’s Danger Doom collaboration with MF Doom. The new LP also features the late Doom, Raekwon, Conway the Machine, and others.
Run the Jewels are currently on tour with Rage Against the Machine. Earlier this year, A$AP Rocky welcomed his first child with Rihanna and released the new songs “D.M.B.” and “Doja.” He also hopped on Nigo’s songs “Arya” and “Lost and Found Freestyle 2019.”
