CW Cancels 'Gotham Knights' After One Season

CW has officially cancelled Gotham Knights after just one season.

Deadline reports that despite the series earning generally favorable ratings, the series did not meet the network’s standards due to the changes in CW’s business model and ownership. Gotham Knights is the only title among the three projects that were in limbo to be canned, with Superman & Lois and All American: Homecoming getting renewed.

Gotham Knights starred Oscar Morgan, Olivia Rose Keegan, Fallon Smythe and Tyler DiChiara and followed the aftermath of Bruce Wayne’s murder. Bob Kane with Bill Finger created the series for DC and was written by Chad Fiveash, James Stoteraux and Natalie Abrams.

Elsewhere in entertainment, BLACKPINK’s Jennie is rumored to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
