Custom 1990 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC 6-Speed Surfaces at Auction

A meticulously reimagined 1990 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC Widebody, boasting a 6.2L AMG V8 engine and a rare six-speed manual transmission, is up for auction via Bring A Trailer (BAT), courtesy of Bespoke Orange County. This unique coupe merges classic Mercedes luxury with modern high-performance engineering, resulting from a multi-year build from 2021 to 2024.

The exterior of the 560SEC is dressed in Smoke Silver Metallic and features flared carbon-fiber fenders, AMG-style carbon-fiber bumpers and side skirts. Complementing the widened stance are custom-fabricated 17-inch AMG-style wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires, providing a commanding presence on the road. A modified suspension system and big brake kit add to the vehicle’s enhanced handling and stopping power.

Inside, the cabin is customized with beige leather upholstery and Bespoke-embroidered, power-adjustable Recaro front seats. Wood trim accents and a high-end McIntosh MX406 Bluetooth stereo head unit, paired with a Focal amplifier and 11 Focal speakers, offer a premium audio experience. Bespoke-branded gauges, including a 190-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer, further underline the car’s performance potential.

Under the hood, the 6.2L M156 AMG V8 is matched with a stainless steel dual exhaust system, said to deliver robust power and a deep, resonant sound. This thoughtfully designed 560SEC, with 41,000 miles on the odometer, is open for bidding now via BAT’s official site. At the time of writing, there are just over 10 hours left on the auction clock, with the highest current bid at $286,555 USD.
