We have pretty pretty good news, and pretty pretty bad news: Curb Your Enthusiasm will return for a new season beginning February 4th, 2024. Unfortunately, the HBO comedy’s upcoming 12th season will also mark its final one.
In a statement, Larry David quipped: As Curb comes to an end, I will now have the opportunity to finally shed this ‘Larry David’ persona and become the person God intended me to be — the thoughtful, kind, caring, considerate human being I was until I got derailed by portraying this malignant character. And so ‘Larry David,’ I bid you farewell. Your misanthropy will not be missed. And for those of you who would like to get in touch with me, you can reach me at Doctors Without Borders.”
The upcoming Curb season, which spans a total of 10 episodes, stars longtime series regulars David, Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, Cheryl Hines, J.B. Smoove, Richard Lewis, and Ted Danson, as well as Vince Vaugn and Tracey Ullman.

The announcement doesn’t come as a complete surprise. Back in March, news surfaced that Curb could be coming to an end after Season 12, with tweets from Lewis and writer-producer Jon Hayman lending further credence to the report.
Curb Your Enthusiasm premiered in 2000, and has racked up more than 40 Emmy nominations throughout its run. After airing eight almost-consecutive seasons from 2000 to 2011, David took a lengthy hiatus from the show before bringing it back in 2017.
