The country music world is praying this week for star Mark Chesnutt after he had to cancel two shows last week and was reportedly admitted to a hospital on Wednesday.
Per reports, Chesnutt had shows in Indiana and Nevada cancelled.
“Mark Chesnutt is currently undergoing a medical evaluation after being admitted to a local hospital on Wednesday, November 1st,” a post on his official X, formerly Twitter, account reads. “Mark and Tracy appreciate the outpouring of love, prayers, and support. Mark is looking forward to seeing everyone soon.”
His status has not been updated since that Nov. 3 post.
In a statement to Whiskey Riff, his team said that updates would be posted “once the doctors determine his condition.” Per the site, Chesnutt had to take time off from touring in 2021 to have back surgery.
The 60-year-old rose to stardom in the early 90s and has a long list of albums and hit songs in his catalog.
His fans have been sending their prayers and well-wishes since the post.
“You’ll be just fine Mark,” one account responded on X. “God’s blessings on you, and your family, now and always.”
“Get well Mark!” another person wrote.
“I pray for your healing in Jesus name!” another responded.
“Prayers and healing energies sent your way,” another person wrote. “I have loved your music since you first hit big and still listen to it this day. I have seen you in concert several times over the years and hope to again. For now, get better and I look forward to seeing you soon.”
