Concept renderings for the upcoming Apple iPhone 14 Pro in “Gold” have surfaced online.
Pigtou has taken Apple rumors regarding the tech company’s biggest improvement for its iPhones. Earlier this year, rumors have pointed out that Apple is expected to change the notch to a punch-hole camera that includes a pill-shaped face ID sensor, giving the face of the phone a greater screen-to-body ratio. The front will have symmetrical bezels on the corners, with the top bezel accommodating the speaker grille. The screen will also be maintaining its 6.1” size.
The back camera will still feature three lenses, a flashlight as well as a Lidar sensor. The side remains the same with the left side reserved for the volume buttons, silence switch and SIM card. The right side will feature the power button while the bottom will continue to be for the lightning port and speakers. Forbes also reports that Apple Insider Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed wy Apple has decided to give the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max last year’s 2021 A15 chipset. Due to supply chain issues, Apple’s next-gen A16 chips cannot cover all of the new iPhone 14 models. By adopting the A15 chip, the iPhone 14 series will be a lower cost. If Apple continues with its release timeline from previous years, the updated iPhone 14 series is expected to launch in September or October 2022.
