Coldplay Is Coming Out With Its 10th Studio LP ‘Moon Music’ This Fall

Coldplay Is Coming Out With Its 10th Studio LP ‘Moon Music’ This Fall

Over 25 years since its formation, Coldplay shows no sign of slowing down. The British rock band has just revealed that it’ll be dropping its tenth studio album this fall, a record titled Moon Music.

The band released its last album, Music of the Spheres, in 2021. For that project, they began working with Swedish hitmaker Max Martin for the first time. Moon Music will see Coldplay reunite with Martin, who is executive producing the album.

While October is still a ways away, the band is opting for a more drawn-out LP rollout, with the first single “feelslikeimfallinginlove” releasing on Friday. The track was previewed for the first time at Coldplay’s stadium show at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest on June 16.

Coldplay has long been known for its environmental activism, especially throughout its latest tour. The band used solar power and power bikes to produce electricity for stadium lights, and used the proceeds to plant trees and fund ocean cleanup projects.

The vinyl for Moon Music will continue the band’s sustainability efforts – each copy is made out of 9 recycled bottles, producing 85% less CO2 emissions to manufacture compared to traditional vinyl. Available for pre-order now on the band’s website, both vinyl and CD runs of Moon Music will be extremely limited.

Coldplay’s Moon Music is out for release on October 4.
