Christina Aguilera has honored late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in a message to her fans.
“Last night, there were 7780 virgils around courthouses in our country according to @womensmarchgbal, honoring #RBG. Right now, the Supreme Court grounds in DC are covered with flowers. Incredible!” she wrote on Twitter Sunday night (Sept. 20). Ginsburg, the second woman to serve on the Supreme Court, died at 87 from complications of metastatic pancreatic cancer.
Aguilera said, “My heart hurts that we lost Supreme Court Justice #RuthBaderGinsburg this week, but it’s been so beautiful to see the outpouring of love and esteem for this feminist icon and warrior for human rights.”
“Let us honor her by continuing the fight for equity, equality, and inclusion. Let us honor her by being powerful and fearless leaders in our own domains. Let us honor her by being the fighters that she fought for us to be! Don’t you agree, fighters?” said the singer.
