Xiaomi has launched its new line of flagship cell phones. The company is leading the charge with the 13 and 13 Pro, both of which stay up to date on the latest technological advancements through Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The 13 Pro takes on a wraparound screen measuring in at 6.73 inches with a vegan leather or ceramic backing. Comparatively, the 13 is slightly smaller than the Pro with a flat screen of 6.36 inches. Backing for the 13 is available as either leather or glass, while the sides are composed of aluminum. Both phones stay on par with the new Snapdragon through 120Hz displays.
Camera wise, the Pro comes packed with a 50-megapixel (MP) f/1.9 camera alongside an ultra wide camera and selfie cam. It also has a Type 1-inch sensor to help out with image stabilization. The 13, meanwhile, has a 50MP f/1.8 OIS camera, a slightly smaller sensor and the same selfie cam.
Among the impressive features the Pro advertises is speedy, 120W charging. Xiaomi says that the phone can be charged from nothing to 100% in just 19 minutes.
Xiaomi’s 13 starts at $570 USD, while the 13 Pro begins at $720 USD, though the phones won’t be for sale in North America.
