At the end of last month, WWE revealed a new World Heavyweight Championship Title and it’s a sight to behold.
But in celebration of the line of WWE championships, yesterday the wrestling company released a new video that offers a closer look at the new title. Created to pay homage to the line of world heavyweight titles and champions, the belt is glittered in gold with an array of standout design features. Leading the charge are details like three lions that reference the McMahon family crest, who are the founders of the entertainment company.
Also included on the title is a crown, which first appeared on Bruno Sammartino’s WWE Championship in 1963, an eagle that references WWE’s Winged Eagle Championship, 60 diamonds that celebrate WWE’s 60-year history and more. The new championship title will be awarded to the winner of the Night of Champions on Saturday, May 27.
