Chance the Rapper appears on the upcoming episode of Jimmy Fallon’s music and comedy variety game show, That’s My Jam.
While playing musical genre challenge, the Chicago-born rapper is tasked with offering a country-rock rendition of Nelly’s popular track, “Hot In Here.” The in-house band quickly set up a country track and Chance the Rapper hopped on as if he had the performance ready all along. Needless to say, he shocked Jimmy Fallon and everyone in the audience.
Last month, Chance the Rapper teamed up with renowned R&B singer Dionne Warwick for the song, “Nothing’s Impossible.” “Nothing’s impossible if you believe/Nothing can stop you from what you’ll achieve/Dreams are forever yes they are/So don’t ever question who you are,” says the song’s chorus. The uplifting track benefits their charities, Hunger: Not Impossible and SocialWorks.
The upcoming episode, which marks the second episode of That’s My Jam, also features Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Alessia Cara and Josh Groban. Check out the preview above that premieres Monday, January 3 on NBC.
