Channel Tres continues his monumental year with a remix of one of 2024’s most memorable tracks. A few months after the release of Head Rush, the producer has put his own spin on Quavo and Lana Del Rey‘s “Tough,” transforming the trap-country cut into a club-ready banger.
Tres pumps the track with his hypnotic energy, adding in a four-on-the-floor baseline and layered synths to underlay the chopped and screwed vocals. The remix is the first official remix of “Tough” to drop and also marks Tres’ first release since Head Rush.
“Tough”‘s remix also arrives as Tres closes out his run on KAYTRANADA‘s TIMELESS Tour, which wraps up later this month. Though Tres isn’t settling down quite yet, as the producer just announced he’ll be bringing his Head Rush album on a UK/European tour, kicking off in November.
