Robert Provenzano, best known by his alias, CES, is a prolific street artist hailing from the Bronx. Best known for his wildstyle approach to graffiti, CES has created a series of art prints with the New York Knicks.
Hailed by the artist as a “lifelong dream” to bring forth this collaboration, CES designed four custom prints to commemorate the club’s 75th anniversary and will only be made available to customers who purchase tickets to select home games.
A constant observer of the world around him, CES takes often overlooked visual iconography and injects them with symbolic value. Characteristic to his oeuvre is his signature subtly marked within each composition — a nod to his graffiti roots. The first print will be dropping tonight when the Knicks take on the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden, which you can purchase tickets here.
In other art news, Roby Dwi Antono imbues the feelings of childhood at NANZUKA.
