The Norwegian defender has been linked with a move away from Parkhead this summer and Celtic will have to bring in a quality replacement.
The Hoops have a massive summer ahead of them and quite a few of their first-team players have been linked with moves away from the club.
It remains to be seen whether the newly appointed manager Ange Postecoglou you can bring in the right replacements and keep the squad competitive for the next season.
Ajer has been linked with a move to the Bundesliga and the Premier League in recent weeks and it will be interesting to see where he ends up eventually.
Starfelt has done well for Rubin Kazan this past season and he could prove to be a quality addition to the Celtic back four.
The 26-year-old can operate as a centre back as well as a full back and his versatility could be useful for Postecoglou during rotation and injuries next season.
