No Doubt About It—M&S Has the Best Coats, Boots and Jumpers for Autumn

Whenever I find myself lacking in cosy knits or a realise I could do with investing in a particular boot style, Marks & Spencer is the first place I turn. With consistent sizing (something that’s becoming infuriatingly unreliable on the high street) and a level of quality that, more often than not, surpasses its price-tags, I’ll always advocate for an M&S purchase. And right now, M&S’s coat, boot and jumper offerings are so impressive, it only seems right to share them with you and to give the brand its dues.  Keep scrolling to see the best Marks & Spencer boots, jumpers and coats this discerning fashion editor thinks are worth your time.  You Deserve to Make Money Even When you are looking for Dates Online. So we reimagined what a...

These H&M Jumpers Are Raking In the Five-Star Reviews

Few high street brands have a hold on us like H&M. Season after season, year after year, the Scandinavian giant continues to impress us with their offering of elevated, good quality, yet affordable hits that become firm favourites in our wardrobes. This autumn, this statement rings particularly true thanks to its sensationally good knitwear offering. Frequently racking up 5 star customer reviews, and with a huge variety of styles, fabrications and colours, H&M’s knitwear selection is, without a doubt, one of the best on the high street. And the cherry on top of it’s cosy cake this year is its best-selling oversized polo neck, a jumper I just so happen to own and very much love.  As a summer dress obsessive (and a June baby), my friends, family and colleagues have had...

Tesla Stock Drops 5% After Automaker Falls Short of Q3 Revenue Predictions

Tesla’s third quarter marked a tumultuous period for the electric vehicle company. According to its Q3 report, the company “encountered material headwinds” due to raw material cost inflation and component shortages. As a result, Tesla’s quarterly revenue didn’t quite match up to what the company predicted, bringing in $21.45 billion USD to its anticipated $21.96 billion USD. While not a major difference, stock in the EV automaker dropped by 15% and shares fell by about 5% following the publication of the report on Wednesday. Compared to the same period last year, Tesla’s net income increased by 55%, jumping from $1.62 billion to $3.33 billion USD. Gross margins for its automotive sector remained at about 27.9%, the same margins for its previous quarter. Throughout Q3, Tesla produced 365,92...

Lourenzo Smith Documents His Love for Vintage Mercedes-Benz in ‘FULL FRAMES’

Lourenzo Smith is one of the many creatives who used the pandemic as a way to fully pursue his creative passions. Based in Los Angeles, the photographer has always carried an affinity for vintage luxury and has produced a new photo-book exploring the impact that Mercedes-Benz has had on his life. Back in the ’80s, Smith’s parents immigrated to the United States as a way to provide a better life for their kids, as a result of the Liberian Civil War. Both of Smith’s parents would carry a penchant for aviation as they’d attend school and work in the field. His father would also go to automotive classes and become a highly skilled mechanic — teaching his son about the craft from an early age and going to junkyards where the two would collect discarded Mercedes-Benz emblems. Almost like th...

Four Hero Backdrops in Dubai

Lebanese photographer Sophia Khalifeh and Hypebeast have put together a list of spots within the city of Dubai that stand as unsung heroes for photoshoot backdrops. Dubai is recognised for its glamor and skyscrapers, but in this roundup, Khalifeh brings to the forefront the industrial areas and nature within the city that many are yet to explore. People outside of this city have a very particular idea of what they think it’s like to live here and even more, regarding the visual landscape. When being an artist and living in any city that isn’t your home, it’s important to find your own lens whilst also honoring the truth of the country. When scouting for locations, I aim to find places that simultaneously look and don’t look like Dubai. I’ve heard many times before that I make Dubai look li...

“Sonic the Hedgehog” Composer Shares DJ Mix Ahead of Upcoming Game, “Sonic Frontiers”

The fastest creature in gaming is in the inspiration of a new DJ mix in honor of his upcoming game. Tomoya Ohtani, the longtime composer of the Sonic the Hedgehog series, has delivered a new DJ mix featuring music from the upcoming game, Sonic Frontiers. Set to the theme of the “Cyber Space” levels found throughout SEGA’s iconic series, the mini-mix finds Ohtani and other composers racing through electronic genres as they showcase the lovable blue hedgehog. Incorporating drum & bass, breaks and beyond, Ohtani arranged a futuristic mix that brings the game to life. High-speed, of course, he blasts through the digital worlds with Sonic as he seamlessly switches from track to track. With a touch of old-school video game sounds, the mix pays tribute to the all-time c...

This Zara-Owned Brand Has Gone—Here’s Where We’re Shopping Instead

Uterqüe was a radical proposition when it launched back in 2008. Inditex, which owns Zara, created the sister brand and launched it as a more premium option in the retail family, with quirkier designs and luxe fabrics. It was, in many ways, ahead of its time. Before other high street stores elevated their offering with spin-off lines full of more directional and expensive pieces, Uterqüe provided a unique proposition that still required an investment but sat comfortably below designer price-tags. It became a personal favourite of mine for both clothing and footwear: I still wear multiple pairs of shoes, a red leather jacket, a cream ’70s-inspired jumpsuit and a pair of navy trousers to this date. These items have latest better than many of my other affordable...

Dermatologists Say These Eye Creams Are The Only Ones That Really Work

Due to the fact the skin around the eye area is lacking in natural oils and is comparatively thinner to the skin in other areas of the face, it also tends to be one of the first places to show signs of premature skin ageing. While it’s typically advised you keep any strong active ingredients away from the delicate eye area, specially formulated eye treatments that contain retinol could help reduce the appearance of fine lines. However, experts warn it’s important to remember the limitations of the retinol in our skincare products. “Retinoic acid is the only topical treatment which is evidence-proven to reduce photoaging and fine lines. It may cause local irritation initially so consider applying it a few nights a week to begin with,” says Leeman. However, ...

Katie Holmes’s Dress-and-Boots Combo Is First on My List to Copy This Autumn

Of all the autumn trends that debuted on the runways in February, the one that undoubtably stood out the most was maxi lengths, which swept (pun intended) the competition after a spring practically dedicated to shrinking hemlines. And now that autumn has arrived, we can say with assurance that the trend is all it was cracked up to be and then some. Just ask Katie Holmes, who wore a simple yet wildly chic maxi-length black dress by Khaite to a Bulgari event this week, paired with the boot trend of the season: sleek knee-highs.  As is true of a majority of Holmes’s ensembles, this one was nothing if not effortless and cool, which the actress said in our Luxury Issue is always her goal when she’s putting together an outfit. (S...

Porsche Introduces Its Lightweight Sports Car, the 911 Carrera T

Porsche is expanding its 911 lineup with an all-new lightweight sports car: the 911 Carrera T. Notably, the “T” stands for touring, articulating the vehicle’s purist driving experience and sporty mechanics. This latest model arrives with the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-6 engine as the flagship 911, pumping 379 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque. Weighing 3,241 pounds, the Carrera T is the lightest series 911 with the entry-level engine. Building on the base model, which can only be matched with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, the T can also be paired with the seven-speed manual of the Carrera S. In manual, the company states that the T can reach 60 mph in 4.3 seconds; and with the dual-clutch automatic, it can reach the same speed in just 3.8 sec...

Cadillac Unveils Its $300,000 USD Ultra-Luxury CELESTIQ EV

Cadillac CELESTIQ concept is now a reality with the unveiling of the production model of the all-electric, ultra-luxury sedan. The car manufacturer pulled from each era of its rich heritage — the CELESTIQ’s proportions harken back to its vehicles of the ’30s and ’50s — and channels such iconic, handbuilt vehicles such as the 1933 V16 Aerodynamic Coupe and the 1957 Eldorado Brougham. “CELESTIQ is the purest expression of Cadillac, acknowledging our incredible history and driving us to a bolder and brighter future,” said Global Vice President of Cadillac Rory Harvey. “It is a completely bespoke work of automotive art, built around the most advanced and innovative technology that we have ever engineered into an automobile.” The CELESTIQ al...
