Following the announcement earlier this spring that he will be joining the Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2024, Carter will also have his jersey retired in two arenas this season. Set to be inducted into the Hall of Fame next month, Carter will also have his jersey hanging from the rafters by the Toronto Raptors. The ceremony will take place on November 2 when the Raptors face the Atlanta Hawks, making Carter the first player in the history of the Raptors' franchise to have his number retired.
