The news comes via Page Six, whose source says Mara may be “as far as six months along in her pregnancy”; that would place a due date sometime in August. Pasuma: Young artistes prefer Hip-Hop to Fuji
Popular fuji singer, Wasiu Alabi, aka Pasuma, has disclosed that the current crop of young Yoruba artistes in the country prefer the hip-hop genre over fuji, which he said has been relegated to the background. He stated this in an Instagram live chat with Yoruba actor and husband to Toyin Abraham, Kolawole Ajeyemi. Pasuma said: “It is sad that budding fuji artistes now prefer to sing hip-hop. After Shanko Rasheed and his set, we are yet to find other young artistes doing fuji music. Chris Cornell died three years ago today in Detroit while Soundgarden was on tour. In his memory, Soundgarden (and Pearl Jam) drummer Matt Cameron teamed up with former Soundgarden opener Taylor Momsen (also from Gossip Girl) of the Pretty Reckless to take on the band’s “Halfway There.” The Pretty Reckless were also the opener for the band on that night in Detroit. Momsen also appeared with the three surviving members of the band at last year’s I Am the Highway show that is now the source of a countersuit between them and Chris Cornell’s widow Vicky. One athlete had a pretty rough weekend and is now facing some very serious legal problems. As spotted on TMZ Cody Latimer was arrested last weekend after he was accused of putting hands and feet on someone. According to the celebrity news website the Washington’s NFL team was booked on Saturday, May 16 at his residence in Englewood, Colorado. Local police were summoned to his apartment complex. Apparently someone phoned 911 after they claimed that several gunshots were heard coming from his home.
