Cardi B has linked up with Kay Flock on a new track titled, “Shake It.” Also featuring Dougie B and Bory300, the song assembles a full-fledged crew of Bronx-born rappers.
Sampling Akon’s 2004 track “Bananza (Belly Dancer)” and Sean Peal’s 2005 track “Temperature,” Kay Flock’s high energy song was shot in bodegas and on the street surrounded by a dense entourage.
“Oh, we tryna bend on the oppas/Bitch, I’m with 300 jects and some Flockas/Like, who hotter? Top shottas/Hoodie’d up, dread down like a Rasta,” raps Kay Flock. “I’m Mr. Hang-Out-The-V/Tryna flock ‘em, pop ‘em, drop ‘em/If we don’t got the–, we gon’ hop ‘em/Bory hop out wit’ the–, tryna chop ‘em.”
Produced by Elias Beatz, “Shake It” marks Kay Flock’s first single since his debut album The D.O.A. Tape, which was released in November of 2021.
