Cardi B Joins Kay Flock on New Song “Shake It”: Listen

Cardi B has teamed up with fellow Bronx rappers Kay Flock and Dougie B for the new song “Shake It.” The track, featuring Bory300 and produced by Elias Beats, prominently samples Akon’s “Bananza (Belly Dancer).” Find “Shake It” below.

“Shake It” is Kay Flock’s first new single since releasing his debut project, The D.O.A. Tape, in November. It’s also his first song since being arrested in December on a charge of first-degree murder. The rapper is accused of shooting and killing a 24-year-old man in Manhattan on December 16. Kay Flock has pleaded not guilty, and, according to online records viewed by Pitchfork, his next court date is currently scheduled for Tuesday, May 12.

Kay Flock broke out last year with the single “Being Honest.” A couple of months later, G Herbo joined him for a remix of the hit. Both versions of “Being Honest” are included on The D.O.A. Tape. Also featured on the project are the Dougie B collaborations “Brotherly Love” and “TCardi.”
