Cardi B has given birth to her second child with Offset.
Cardi shared the news in an Instagram post on Monday, featuring a photo of her holding their newborn son in a hospital bed while sitting with Offset under a Louis Vuitton blanket.
“9/4/21,” Cardi captioned the post.
Offset also took to social media to celebrate the moment, posting a photo of himself holding their newborn child while lying on a hospital bed next to Cardi. His caption reads, “Chapter 5,” a nod to this being his fifth child.
“We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son,” the couple said in a statement via Cardi’s representatives shared with PEOPLE. “He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can’t wait to introduce him to his other siblings.”
Cardi and Offset are already parents to their three-year-old daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus. Offset is also the father to three other children — his daughter Kalea, six, and sons Kody, six, and Jordan, 11 — from prior relationships.
Cardi first announced her pregnancy in June while performing at the BET Awards alongside Offset and Migos. Previously, the “I Like It” rapper revealed that she was pregnany with Kulture during an appearance on Saturday Night Live.
The couple has not yet revealed their newborn child’s name.
Elsewhere, Zendaya has pledged that her leads “will always be black women” if she becomes a filmmaker.
