Following a PlayStation-only weekend of Call of Duty: Vanguard last month, Activision is now offering the chance to play the Beta version of the multiplayer game across all platforms.
From September 16, 6PM BST, Call of Duty: Vanguard Beta will be live to play absolutely free on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X or S, Xbox One and PC via Battle.net, and unlike previous times no pre-order, or Xbox Live Gold membership, will be required for this open period.
Players can progress and rank up in the Beta and experience Vanguard’s intense, adrenaline-fueled Multiplayer — which includes new weaponry, field upgrades and killstreaks — that can be unlocked by earning XP.
What’s more, those who reach level 20 within the Beta will receive the Rat-A-Tat weapon blueprint at the launch of Vanguard, and those who play the Beta can also unlock Task Force One Operator, Sergeant Arthur Kingsley for use in Call of Duty: Mobile.
Call of Duty: Vanguard beta will be available to play from September 16, 6PM BST, until September 18, 6PM BST.
In other gaming news, PlayStation 5 is rolling out a major system software update globally.
