Burna Boy Performs “Last Last” on ‘The Tonight Show’

Burna Boy Performs “Last Last” on ‘The Tonight Show’

On Monday evening, Burna Boy appeared as the musical guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he performed a live rendition of his hit Love, Damini track “Last Last.”

The Nigerian singer took to the stage in the foreground of jazzy keyboardists, drummers and saxophonists to deliver his Toni Braxton-sampling bars. “Now, you crash your Ferarri for Lekki, Burna / Na small thing remain, could’ve been all over,” he sang under moody blue and green lights. “My feelings still dey swing like jangolova / Feelings still dey swing like.”

Notably, the track secured the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart earlier this summer, and the cut’s music video has since racked up more than 75 million views on YouTube. Meanwhile, Love, Damini, which was released earlier in July of this year, boasts a slew of impressive features from J Balvin, Ed Sheeran, Kehlani, Khalid, Popcaan and Ladysmith Black Mambazo.

While appearing on the late-night talk show, Burna Boy also claimed the hot seat in conversation with Fallon, discussing his work with Sheeran and the origin of his stage name before teaching the revered host his signature Afro moonwalk dance moves. Watch it all go down below.
