Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first African artist to sell out the 80,000-capacity stadium in London.
The Nigerian superstar captivated his fans with his signature mesmerizing performance during a concert held at the stadium on Saturday, June 3, 2023.
The show was a historic one for Afrobeats as it captured not only Burna Boy’s meteoric rise to global stardom but also the fast rise of Afrobeats.
With his performance at the London Stadium, Burna Boy continues to set the pace as the artist leading the international push of Afrobeats.
In addition, the London stadium officially confirmed the record-breaking achievement, and extended their congratulations to the self-styled ‘African Giant’ via their official Twitter handle just before the show.
