Burberry has unveiled a new collaboration with French motorcycle manufacturer DAB Motors, as part of its November release of B Series, a selection of limited-edition pieces curated by creative director Ricardo Tisci.
The motorcycle, dubbed the Concept E-RS Burberry Edition, generates less waste and less carbon print compared to traditional mass-manufactured motorbikes with a sustainable design model and more conscious use of resources. At the intersection of sustainability and luxe automotive, the bike is designed and crafted entirely at DAB Motor’s factory in Bayonne, France.
The bike marks DAB Motors’ first-ever street-legal concept motorcycle, equipped with an electric power source for a more eco-friendly method of transport. Additionally, the bike “makes no noise, leaves no smell and no emissions in the air,” according to the brand. The motorcycle’s battery, chassis, electronics and various other components are engineered by the French manufacturer.
The motorcycle arrives in two colorways — midnight blue and metallic grey — with bespoke iconography on the body, a hand-stitched TB monogram saddle and customizable handlebars. The Concept-E RS Burberry Edition is available to purchase on DAB Motors’ website.
Elsewhere, a Tesla EV was “severely damaged” after a full self-driving beta mode-induced crash.
