BTS’ Suga To Release Concert Film Detailing His Global Solo Tour

BTS’ Suga To Release Concert Film Detailing His Global Solo Tour

Before he became known as Suga of K-pop boyband BTS, Min Yoon-giw wrote and released music under the name Agust D. In fact, he originally joined Big Hit – now renamed to HYBE – as a producer in 2010 and spent three years with the label before eventually being tapped to join BTS.

While BTS skyrocketed to fame, Suga never abandoned the Agust D moniker, releasing solo albums in 2016, 2020 and 2023. In the latter half of 2023, the artist took his 2023 LP, D-DAY, on a global tour.

The tour experience has been adapted into a concert film, slated to release globally this April. Dubbed “D-DAY” the MOVIE, the flick will chronicle Suga’s breakout as a live solo artist, spanning 28 shows in major global cities and drawing in 330,000 attendees.

From Bangkok to Los Angeles, the tour was full of twists and turns, including surprise performances with his BTS bandmates RM, Jimin and Jung Kook. Along with concert footage, Suga will offer commentary firsthand on how the production came together.

“D-DAY” the MOVIE will premiere in South Korea on April 10, followed by a worldwide release in select theaters on April 13.
