The BTS takeover of The Tonight Show started with a bang as the K-pop superstars dug out a rare gem.
On Monday night, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook stepped onto Jimmy Fallon’s floor and in front of a temple for a dynamite rendition of “Idol”.
The late-night host hyped it as “an original, never seen before performance,” and the excitement wasn’t lost on ARMY as BTS immediately trended on social media (Jimin was the standout this time).
“Idol” is, of course, lifted from the K-pop superstars’ 2018 chart-topping album from Love Yourself: Answer.
Throughout “BTS Week,” the seven-piece will perform, chat and play games. Each night they’ll deliver a unique performance and take part in skits with Fallon and a virtual interview.
It’s all part of the build up to the release of BE (Deluxe Edition), the follow-up to 2020’s Map of the Soul: 7, on Nov. 20,
