The world-renowned K-pop group, BTS, has announced the release of their first book. Titled, Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS, the forthcoming title chronicles the group’s ten-year journey and is written by Myeongseok Kang.
Comprised of members RM, Jin, Jimin, SUGA, j-hope, V and Jungkook, BTS made its debut in 2013 and has grown to become the best-selling K-pop group of all time. The group has also had six No.1 hits on the Billboard 100 chart alongside 10 top 10 hits. Alongside recounting the group’s history, the book is set to take a look at the group’s future. “Beyond the Story demonstrates their effort, hardship, and growth first gathering to becoming the 21st-century pop icons,” said BigHit Music. “The changes and progress in the K-pop industry are also discussed in it.”
The book is organized into seven chapters: “Seoul,” “Why We Exist,” “Love, Hate, Army,” “Inside Out,” “A Flight That Never Lands,” “The World Of BTS” and “We Are.” Additionally, the book is set to include interviews with the members.
Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS is set to release on July 9 alongside ARMY day, and will come in 23 languages. Pre-orders for the title are available now.
