Shortly after BTS announced that they were taking a hiatus to focus on independent projects, Jungkook has hopped on a new track with Charlie Puth titled “Left And Right.”
The track, which arrived on Friday alongside a bubbly music video featuring the duo in a series of colorful outfits and sets, arrives off of Puth’s forthcoming album Charlie, scheduled to release sometime later this year. As Puth and Jungkook attempt to cure their lovesickness with a visit to the Love Doctor, the visual includes a QR code and unique phone number that fans can text for bonus content from the artists.
“Memories follow me left and right/I can feel you over here, I can feel you over here/You take up every corner of my mind,” the pair sings in the chorus.
“Left And Right” marks Puth’s third track this year, following “Light Switch” and “That’s Hilarious,” which were released in January and April, respectively.
Meanwhile, during their Festa dinner earlier this month, BTS revealed that they are going on an indefinite “hiatus” to allow time for each member to focus on their own solo careers. In a one-hour video from the event, Jungkook said, “We’re each going to take some time to have fun and experience lots of things. We promise we will return someday even more mature than we are now.”
