BTS’ J-Hope Tags J. Cole for New Single “on the street”

BTS' J-Hope Tags J. Cole for New Single "on the street"

J-Hope and J. Cole have joined forces for the BTS member’s newest single, “on the street.”

Clocking in at three-and-a-half minutes, the track is described by HYBE as a “lo-fi hip-hop track with easy-listening melody and warm-hearted lyrics” and features production work from Pdogg as the two artists trade verses. The record label adds that the word “street” can also “be interpreted as a place where many people’s everyday lives pass by – a metaphor for life.”

“on the street” arrives shortly after BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed that J-Hope will be the second BTS member after Jin to enter South Korea’s 18-month mandatory military service. “We would like to inform our fans that J-Hope has initiated the military enlistment process by applying for the termination of his enlistment postponement,” BIGHIT shared. “We will inform you of further updates in due course. We ask you for your continued love and support for J-Hope until he completes his military service and safely returns. Our company will spare no effort in providing support for our artist.”
