Bryce James Commits to University of Arizona

Bryce James Commits to University of Arizona

Bryce James, the youngest son of LeBron James and younger brother of Bronny James is cementing his own legacy in the sport. Taking to Instagram to reveal his choice of college for the 2025 class, Bryce announced he is “100% committed” to Arizona to be a part of the Wildcats.

Bryce is a four-star prospect from Sierra Canyon and previously held offers from Ohio State and Duquesne. He recently took an unofficial visit to Arizona and even teased going “Bear Down” back in November in a an Arizona varsity jacket and Wildcats-coded Nike Book 1s. Following in the footsteps of his brother, Bryce appears to be looking to play college ball for at least one season before making it to the NBA. He was previously invited to the USA Basketball under-17 national team training camp last June.

Now that Bryce has committed to Arizona, it opens the conversation of what this could me brand sponsorships down the line and of course, LeBron James’ legacy. The James gang has been a Nike family through and through, and with Bryce heading off to Arizona, it opens the door to future Arizona-branded Nike apparel and footwear editions, given LeBron’s influence in the game and the brand. In the past, LeBron also showed love to USC, Bronny’s college team, with silhouettes arriving in the school’s colorways. It remains to be seen if arrangements will be made once Bryce heads off to Arizona. Furthermore, with LeBron’s own NBA legacy, he has be vocal about wanting to play in the league with his sons. Following his recent 40th birthday, LeBron told press that he could play seven more years if he wanted. With Bryce entering college ball and potentially the league within that time frame, it remains to be seen if LeBron will be able to play on the NBA court with both his sons.
