The 2021 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has been pushed yet again over concerns about the length of the COVID-19 pandemic, marking the third time dates for the festival were shifted due to the virus. The annual event will now take place Sept. 2-5, 2021.
The festival, which typically takes place in mid-June, was moved to September 2020 in March after the coronavirus took hold in the U.S. In June, it was moved a second time to June 2021, before being rescheduled for a third time earlier today.
“We want to thank you for being a loyal Bonnaroovian, and we appreciate your patience as we navigate the best options to ensure we can be together on the Farm in 2021,” the festival’s website explained in a post to fans today.
Information on lineup, camping and accommodations will be available at a later date. Fans can continue to rollover their tickets or request refunds if they’re unable to attend. Fans seeking a refund for camping or tickets should log into their Frontgate account and select the refund option. Refunds will be processed from Sept. 30 to Oct. 31.
Bonnaroo recently held its first-ever Virtual Roo-Ality festival, a free, three-day streaming event that ran Sept. 24-26 and featured performers including Action Bronson, Chromeo and Charli XCX.
