From there, the four-piece advertises the store’s wide selection of bone options — from “big bones” to “itty bitty bitty bones” — over a medley of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s popular hits. Taking it a ridiculous step further, the store features dinosaur bones, vegan bones, funny bones and even trombones.
As if that weren’t enough, each purchase comes with a free serenade from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony — even if the customer doesn’t want it. “The bone I purchased was alarmingly cheap, but it was perfect for my dog,” one customer says in a filmed testimonial. “The song was a little strange.”
The SNL skit coincidentally arrives as the real Bone Thugs-N-Harmony prepares to face off against Three 6 Mafia in the next Verzuz battle, set to take place in Los Angeles on Dec. 2.
