Simon is pretty sure this shot of Marley playing soccer with art director Neville Garrick, percussionist Seeco Patterson, and chef Antonio “Gilly” Gilbert was taken before a gig in Heidelberg, Germany. “Bob was always playing soccer,” says Simon. “He played in hotel rooms, outdoors, during soundcheck. He was obsessed with it. And if wasn’t playing football, he was riding a bike. He love being outdoors.”
