BMW has unveiled its latest race-ready vehicles, the M4 GT3 and GT4 EVO, in preparation for the upcoming 2025 season of customer GT racing.
The racers see aerodynamic enhancements to the chassis like a larger range of rear wing adjustments, larger air inlets and smaller mirrors. Additional updates include stiffer anti-roll bars, larger brakes and “finer and easier-to-adjust” differential. Aesthetically, the vehicle’s have also seen changes to their finishes and are no longer traditionally painted but rather feature a significantly lighter cathodic dip coating.
This new look, dubbed “Inception” is meant to express themes of “digitality and dimensionality” into a bold mosaic. As a result of the design, the M colors appear in the same sequence they occur in the M logo, from a range of perspectives. For the BMW M4 GT3 EVO, dark areas of the livery feature authentic carbon fiber for a unique look and to save weight at the same time.
BMW is prepping to debut these two new vehicles on the eve of the Nürburgring 24 Hours race — with Andreas Roos, Head of BMW M Motorsport stating “I am convinced that the EVO model of the BMW M4 GT3, as well as that of the BMW M4 GT4, will contribute to playing in the first league of GT racing in the coming years and celebrating many more great victories. I thank everyone involved in the development of the cars.”
