BMW Honors the Esports Community With Limited-Edition Manga Print

BMW Honors the Esports Community With Limited-Edition Manga Print

With creative agency Jung von Matt, BMW Esports has released a special holiday edition of its highly successful manga series Heroes of Rivalry. The latest festive issue comes published alongside a new print version as well as a community prize draw for a collector’s edition magazine and original artwork.

The digital manga was launched early this year and has now seen eight published issues to date. Based off BMW’s competitive racing culture, the storyline illustrates BMW’s United in Rivalry partnership with Cloud9, T1 and FNATIC and others, as they compete in a series of fantasy adventures.

In the new holiday special, the story continues with the players returning home for the festive season before being faced with one of their biggest challenges yet- defeating the abominable hacker in the virtual dimension. To celebrate the holiday edition, the new issue will be published in a digital and print format modeled around the ‘Isekai’ manga genre.

The brand will also give its devoted community the chance to enter an abundant raffle with prizes including artwork by featured Manga artist Acky Bright and collector’s-edition copies of the print issue. More than just a premium magazine, the deluxe collector’s edition of Heroes of Rivalry will come with a black light lamp that reveals hidden drawings of manga making process.

Find out more about the new holiday edition and community prize draw on BMW Esports’ dedicated Heroes of Rivalry website now as well as on Twitter and Instagram.
